Movie: Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

Based off of Matthew Quick’s 2008 novel, this film reminds us that it is never too late to rewrite your story. Bradley Cooper plays a character that has just arrived home after being put in a mental hospital due to his bipolar disorder, and must slowly rebuild his life again. This story gives viewers a unique look at the mind of someone with bipolar disorder and sees the challenges, but also the victories, that make up their everyday life.

Podcast: Thick & Thin

Katy Bellotte is a mid-20 year-old strong-minded female who started on YouTube and made her way to the podcasting world. Each of her episodes is filled with so much value that I leave feeling connected and educated. She doesn’t just discuss a current topic going on in her life or the world, but goes the extra mile to connect it to the life story of a famous person or event in history.

TV Show: 90 Day Fiance (2014)

This show has been my family’s favorite pastime for years. Seeing the different stories of developing relationships from all over the world is not only entertaining to follow since they’re experiencing the milestones and challenges of any new relationship, but it gives us a deeper look into many diverse cultures our world has.

Memory: College Graduation

I officially graduated! Although I didn’t get to officially cross the stage, I am proud to announce that I have graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Public Relations.

My family celebrated with a Milwaukee-themed dinner and even surprised me with a drive-by parade featuring all of my family and friends!
